Twaddell and Woodvale Residents’ Association is currently supported by the International Fund for Ireland through the Peace Impact Programme. This support enables the association to deliver a range of programmes and projects that encourage skills development and improve employability and increase community capacity to address the legacy of the conflict.

Some of the employability and skills training we have provided includes SIA Licence, Health and Social Care, Childcare, driving skills and a range of other accredited and non-accredited training. If you have any suggestions about training programmes that may help you or other local people find employment, please call into the office and discuss with one of the project staff.

The association also provides a range of training and other opportunities to support local people to engage in conflict resolution, promoting peace and reconciliation. These programmes combine classroom-based learning and workshops with best practice visits and are tailored to meet the needs of different groups such as young people and women.

The news section of this website provides an update on all the opportunities and activities available through the Peace Impact Programme. Alternatively, keep an eye out for the latest updates on our Facebook page or call into the office.
